Riga International Film Festival welcomes its viewers to enjoy the awards ceremony, RIGA IFF AWARDS, in person.<\/p>\n
Referring to the festival’s slogan “YOU ARE HERE”, the evening will encourage a celebration of change that comes from cinematic experience. The ceremony will be directed by actor and director Gerds Lapo\u0161ka.<\/p>\n
After countless big screen adventures, the festival culminates by bringing together the filmmakers of the nominated films, as well as the local and international juries \u2013 with a total of 78 works competing for the festival awards this year in seven categories.<\/p>\n
The ceremony will take place at the home of RIGA IFF \u2013 the Splendid Palace cinema \u2013 on 24 October, the second-to-last day of the festival.
