She heads theatrical acquisitions for Drafthouse Films, leading a small army to acquire and distribute provocative, visionary, and artfully unusual movies from around the world. Since its inception in 2010, Drafthouse Films has released 51 titles and garnered three Oscar nominations. Ahbra is passionate about all types of film and utilising new technology and strategies to support up-and-coming and lesser-known filmmakers.
