Against the backdrop of Russia’s invasion, a contemporary artist Roman, who has issues with alcohol, tries to find understanding with his loved ones: his parents, wife, and lover. Caught up in a cycle of recurring events and circumstances, Roman turns to his past in order not to lose himself in the present.<\/p>\n

Laurynas Barei\u0161a graduated in applied mathematics and cinematography and earned an MA in film directing. He recently worked as a cinematographer on the feature films Summer Survivors (2018) and Slow (2023) by Marija Kavtaradz\u0117. His first feature film, Pilgrims (2021), was awarded the prize for the best film in the Orizzonti Competition of the Venice Film Festival.
