It will be marked with a screening of <a href=\"https:\/\/rigaiff.lv\/films-2019\/suni-nevalka-bikses\/\">\u2018Dogs Don\u2019t Wear Pants\u2019<\/a> by J-P Valkeap\u00e4\u00e4 \u2013 a daring story on how a man seeks to cope with the death of his wife through exploring the limits of his pain and endurance in BDSM sessions.<\/p>\n\n        \n            <div class=\"row no-gutters mb-3 mt-3\">\n                <div class=\"col-xl text-center\">\n                    \n                                        <a class=\"venue_url\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\"><\/a>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n\n\n                            <div class=\"row no-gutters justify-content-center mb-5 mt-3\"> \n                                        <\/div>\n            \n<p>The film was shot in Latvia \u2013 with members of the Riga BDSM community as background actors \u2013 and had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Finnish cinema \u2013 so close to us in regard to its emotional temperature \u2013 continues to surprise. Inspired by the films of Kaurism\u00e4ki and Bergman, J-P Valkeap\u00e4\u00e4, one of Finland\u2019s most interesting directors of auteur cinema, has created a bold, extravagant and very personal story about the acceptance of loss.
