Notable SHORT RIGA Test Screenings alums include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i>Big Zeus<\/i> (Johannes Magnus Aule, M\u00fcnchhausen Productions, Wedia Productions) \u2013 World Premiere at POFF 2025 New Talents Live Action Competition<\/li>\n<li><i>Face Recognition<\/i> (Martinus Klemet, Animartinus) \u2013 screened at more than 40 festivals worldwide.<\/li>\n<li><i>Flying Carpet<\/i> (Justin Amorim, Promenade) \u2013 had its World premiere at the Durban International Festival in South Africa and was recently screened in Curtas Vila do Conde.<\/li>\n<li><i>Freeride in C<\/i> (Edmunds Jansons, Atom Art) \u2013 celebrated its World premiere in Ottawa International Animation Film festival, later screened in competition and selection programmes at Animafest Zagreb, Fredrikstad Animation Festival, POFF, Gij\u00f3n International Film Festival, Animateka and Tampere amongst many others.<\/li>\n<li><i>Glitter Kiss<\/i> (Auguste Gerikait\u0117, Plopsas, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre) \u2013 participated at the Hamburg\u2019s Short Film Festival, Tampere Short Film Festival, Baltic Premiere at the POFF 2025 New Talents Live Action Competition<\/li>\n<li><i>Iris<\/i> (Jone Vatne, Syden Pictures) \u2013 had the World premiere at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, where it won the ECFA Short Film Award.<\/li>\n<li><i>Left-handed Pen<\/i> (Adas Burk\u0161aitis, Greta Garbo Films) \u2013 included in the European Film Award 2025 short film shortlist and screened at Kino Pavasaris, POFF and Trieste competitions.<\/li>\n<li><i>The Little Other<\/i> (Andres Tenusaar, Nukufilm) \u2013 received a special mentions award at the POFF Shorts in 2024.<\/li>\n<li><i>Maria Henriqueta Was Here<\/i> (Nuno Pimentel, Bravado Filmes) \u2013 had its World Premiere at BAFICI in Argentina, and was included in Oberhausen, Indielisboa and Karlovy Vary programmes.<\/li>\n<li><i>A Microphone in the Head<\/i> (Robert Raska Ly, Kinommitus) \u2013 World Premiere at POFF 2025 International Competition, was also selected for 2ANNAS 2026, amongst other festivals<\/li>\n<li><i>Miisufy<\/i> (Liisi Gr\u00fcnberg, AAA Creative) \u2013 premiered at Sundance 2023 and continued its screenings in competitions at Clermont-Ferrand, AFI Fest, Love &amp; Anarchy, Rotterdam, and others.<\/li>\n<li><i>On Conductor Street<\/i> (Gint\u0117 Regina, Arti\u0161okai) \u2013 premiered in Busan International Short Film Festival 2026 and was included in the Kino Pavasaris short film competition programme.<\/li>\n<li><i>Purga<\/i> (Antanas Sku\u010das, Gintar\u0117 Valevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117-Brazauskien\u0117, Tylus kinas) \u2013 after successful festival circuit won Lithuanian National Film Award for best short film of 2024.<\/li>\n<li><i>Room Number<\/i> (Silvia Lorenzi, Homeless Bob Production) \u2013 World Premiere at POFF 2025 International Competition, also selected for the Short Film Competition section at FilmFestival CottBus<\/li>\n<li><i>The Secret<\/i> (K\u0119stutis Drazdauskas, ARTBOX) \u2013 appearances at European Film Forum Scanorama and Vilnius Short Film Festival as well as a successful run on Lithuanian television.<\/li>\n<li><i>Sierra<\/i> (Sander Joon, AAA Creative) \u2013 shortlisted for the Oscars in 2022, selected for over 130 festivals and won more than 40 awards<\/li>\n<li><i>Slush<\/i> (J\u0113kabs Okonovs, Aivars \u0160aic\u0101ns, Latvian Academy of Culture, studio \u201cPilna\u201d) \u2013 World premiere at the Oberhausen Int. We have been awarded an Italian\u2013Baltic co-development grant, and we are currently preparing the film as a co-production between the Baltic countries, Germany, and Italy.
