The competition programme showcases films from the Baltic Sea region and Nordic Countries characterised by innovative cinematic language and distinct artistic expression. There are no genre or style restrictions \u2013 films may fall into documentary, fiction, animation, or any cross-genre category.<\/p>\n
Surprisingly different schools, traditions and visions can be discovered within the geographical scope of this competition. The selected works embody RIGA IFF\u2019s reflections on tomorrow\u2019s cinema today.<\/p>\n

Marge Liiske has held various positions in the film business since 1990. Since 2016, she runs Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, one of the fastest growing industry platforms in the winter season, taking place annually during the Black Nights Film Festival in November.
