Representing the analogue cinema association and the laboratory L’abominable, French director Camille Degeye’s fourth short film loosens the conventions of the road movie genre and simplifies the ingenuity of the medium. Almost a Kiss is the first part of an analogue diptych, and the director has simultaneously started working on her first feature-length film, Sphinx.
