During a time when Riga is under the threat of war, six unknown twenty- somethings move into a communal flat on the condition that no outside information can cross the threshold, but their new-found tranquillity will soon be shaken by the feelings that tend to develop among the young.

Roberts Vinovskis began his career at the age of sixteen as an assistant to the legendary documentary film director Juris Podnieks. In 1995 established his own “Studio Locomotive”. Member of European Film Academy. Has produced a number of award-winning films – fiction, documentaries and animation.
Aik Karapetian studies at LKA (Riga) and l’ESEC (Paris). Director of such movies as The Man in The Orange Jacket, Squeal/Samuel’s Travels. His films have been at Karlovy Vary, FantasticFest, Sitges FF, BIF London FF, etc. Aik has staged opera productions in Latvia, France and Norway.
Jānis Ābele’s second feature film “Jelgava 94” had a good box-office run in Latvia. “Jelgava 94” received 4 national film awards including Best Directing. In 2023 will be released the feature-length documentary “The Last Will” directed by Abele.
Linda Rudene is a play-writer working in the biggest state and nongovernmental theaters. The idea of Linda’s play “Riests” won the play competition announced by the Latvian National Theater and as a result was staged in 2021. Twelve of Linda’s original plays have been staged so far.
