Katya is a 17-year old girl, who hasn’t seen her mother for more than 13 years. Her mother is being deported from Poland to Ukraine where she met her almost adult daughter. Katya, tries to deprive her and father of parental rights and start a new independent life.

Oleksandr Kosiak is an Ukrainian director, who graduated film and TV directing at the Roman Shirman’s studio, Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, Ukraine. Member of the Ukrainian Guild of Directors and Contemporary Ukrainian Cinema. His work as director includes student films My Home and Camera of the Future, which have been selected for multiple festivals. As a Director of Photography his film Sir Chub de Pigi has also been screened at festivals and received awards. In March 2022 he won Best Film Award in the Student Competition program at the Subculture Film Festival (Palm Beach, FL, US).
