Until 2005 A Film Estonia was mainly a sub-contracting studio. It has worked for many major European and US production studios including Columbia Pictures, Warner Bros. Feature Animation, Anima Vitae etc. In 2005 A Film Estonia started their own first production: a short animated film for children. Since then the studio has produced feature films Raggie (2020) and Poop, Spring and the Others (2023), an animated documentary Goricaturist (2023), several short films and TV-series. A Film Estonia animators and designers have also created illustrations for various publications and designed logos and produced over 200 commercials.

Kristel Tõldsepp has been a producer of A Film Estonia since 1996, and the owner of the company since 2011. Tõldsepp has been a production manager of 20 animated feature films and 10 TV series. She has worked for films like Asterix and the Vikings, Niko and the Way to the Stars and Titeuf – the Movie. Moreover, Tõldsepp has also produced 15 short films, TV series Things You Think and feature films Raggie (2020) and Poop, Spring and Others (2023). She has a MA degree in economics and regularly attendsl workshops of TV and animation production around Europe.
