Two scientists are taking part in a big folk song collecting competition. Whoever succeeds in recording the folk song of the world’s oldest animal species, the mythical fire-breathing dragon, wins the grand prize. The Gadgetville’s girl dog Lotte and her little sister Roosi decide to help the scientists.
Janno Põldma made his directing debut in the 1991. Since then he has directed 12 films, which have won several National Cultural Awards and prizes at different international animated film festivals. Janno Põldma is also an acclaimed author of children’s books, plays and musicals for young people.
Vilnis Kalnaellis started his animation career in 1991 and founded Rija Films in 1995. He has produced over 50 Latvian animated films and has received over 50 national and international awards. His films were premiered and shown at prestigious festivals worldwide. Vilnis has also been involved in various international co-operation projects, including Belleville Rendez-Vous and Kirikou and the Sorceress.
