A journey through the region commonly called Eastern Europe in order to get rid of stereotypes and give this concept a wider connotation.

Film industry in Slovenia emerged in 1946 and saw a considerable raise between 1995 and 2015. The breakthrough came only after the declaration of independence in 1991, therefore we can trace some parallels with the development of cinema in Latvia. Slovenia has equally strong fiction and documentary cinema that will be represented here in Riga.
