Five episodes of The Magic Wardrobe created by Krista Burāne and the main artist Kristīne Jurjāne take us to a world where everything sparks curiosity and is worthwhile for the youngest viewers. At the premiere of the complete series at the RIGA IFF, the filmmaking team invites you on a musical journey based on the popular song cycle by Aigars Voitišķis with lyrics by Pēters Brūveris, Māra Zālīte, and Ieva Samauska.

Top Latvian animation artists (Anete Melece, Anna Zača, Edmunds Jansons, and Toms Burāns) join forces with some of the most recognisable voices (Ingus Ulmanis, Aigars Voitišķis, Andris Sējāns, Karīna Tropa, and others) to discover something entirely new, leaving a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of both young and old. This series will be a special event for preschool and early primary school audiences.

Beneath prickly wool coat sleeves that sometimes move like arms, among scarves carrying the scent of mom, and next to the forgotten beach bag that happily strews sand around.
