Riga International Film Festival welcomes its viewers to enjoy the awards ceremony, RIGA IFF AWARDS, in person.

Referring to the festival’s slogan “SEE. SHIFT. BECOME.”, the evening will encourage a celebration of change that comes from cinematic experience. The band Alejas will be present, evening hosted by actor Toms Harjo, and the ceremony will be directed by actor and director Gerds Lapoška.

After countless big screen adventures, the festival culminates by bringing together the filmmakers of the nominated films, as well as the local and international juries – with a total of 78 works competing for the festival awards this year in seven categories. 

The ceremony will take place at the home of RIGA IFF – the Splendid Palace cinema – on 25 October, the second-to-last day of the festival. The ceremony will start at 20:30 (doors from 20:00), and tickets can be purchased online at rigaiff.lv and at Biļešu serviss box offices.
