On the one hand, it’s the apocalypse, but on the other, it’s a very ordinary day. Something frightening and pulsating has appeared as an invisible layer.
This latest short film by Polish director Tomek Popakul, whose previous short film has been screened at RIGA IFF and lauded at other festivals, returns to the anxiety of the first months of the pandemic. His upcoming film will be about anarchist ecologists who take a stand against robotisation.
