An educational VR experience that tells the story of the rescue of Jews in Nazi-occupied Riga. Zigis, the son of Latvia’s most famous rescuer, is eight years old when the war begins. Under a wood shed in the courtyard of the family home, a 3×3 metre bunker is dug out, where up to 12 people hide at a time. Zigis tells the story as he sees it.
The experience is part of a visit to the Žanis Lipke Memorial and can be viewed in a specially equipped VR room in a mixed reality setting.
