Rīgas Starptautiskais kino festivāls (RIGA IFF, 16.–26. oktobrī) aicina pieteikties mediju akreditācijai, kas ļaus mediju pārstāvjiem, kas veido publikācijas par festivālu, apmeklēt filmu seansus un kino nozarei veltītās sadaļas RIGA IFF FORUM publiskās norises.

 Mediju akreditācijai iespējams pieteikties līdz 2025. gada 1. oktobrim, aizpildot pieteikšanās anketu.

Pieteikšanās anketai jāpievieno pārstāvētā medija redaktora vai atbildīgās personas parakstītu apliecinājums, kas apstiprina žurnālista plānotās publikācijas konkrētajā medijā; tajā norādāms:

• medija regularitāte (dienas, nedēļas, mēneša u. c.);
• tirāža un sasniedzamā auditorija;
• plānotās publikācijas par RIGA IFF programmu, norisēm, viesiem u. c.

Piesakoties akreditācijai atkārtoti, nepieciešams uzrādīt arī iepriekšējā gadā izveidotās publikācijas un sižetus, kas kalpos par pamatu mediju pārstāvja reakreditācijai.

Akreditācija var tikt piešķirta ne vairāk kā diviem pārstāvjiem no viena medija, izņemot gadījumus, kad par citu kārtību ir notikusi iepriekšēja vienošanās ar festivālu. Katrs pieteikums tiks izskatīts atsevišķi; lēmums par caurlaides piešķiršanu tiks paziņots katram pieprasītājam individuāli ne vēlāk kā līdz š. g. 7. oktobrim. Latvijas lielākās kino svinības, Rīgas Starptautiskais kino festivāls, no 16. līdz 26. oktobrim kino cienītājiem vairāk nekā 100 seansos piedāvās drosmīgus un svaigus autoru skatījumus no pasaules un Eiropas kinomākslas. Paralēli noritēs arī pasākumu programma kino nozares profesionāļiem, kā arī publisku pasākumu kopums plašākai sabiedrībai. Ar vadmotīvu “SEE. SHIFT. BECOME.” jeb “REDZI. MAINIES. PĀRTOPI.” festivāla komanda šogad pievēršas stāvoklim, kādā nonāk skatītājs, ļaujoties festivāla piedāvātajiem kinematogrāfiskiem piedzīvojumiem. The Riga International Film Festival (RIGA IFF, 16–26 October) is inviting media representatives publishing coverage on the festival to apply for the festival’s media accreditation. Accreditation allows the holder to attend film screenings and festival’s industry section’s RIGA IFF FORUM public events throughout the festival. 

Submission for the media accreditation is open until 1 October 2025 by completing an application form.

Application form has to include a statement, signed by the represented outlet’s editor or official representative, confirming the planned coverage by the media representative in the outlet and include the following information:

• publication frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, other);
• circulation and audience reach;
• the planned coverage on RIGA IFF programme, events, guests, etc.

When applying for the Media Pass repeatedly, it’s necessary to provide proof of previous year’s coverage of the festival as it will be required for a repeat accreditation of the media representative.

The accreditation can be granted to no more than two representatives from the same outlet, except for instances when different terms previously agreed with the Festival. Each application will be considered individually and a decision on whether to grant accreditation will be communicated to each applicant no later than by 7 October. Terms and conditions of the Media Pass are available on RIGA IFF website rigaiff.lv/accreditations.

The biggest celebration of cinema in Latvia, RIGA IFF will delight the senses of film lovers with over 100 screenings from 16 to 26 October, offering bold and fresh visions of world and European cinema. In parallel, a programme of events for industry professionals, as well as a series of public events for the wider community will take place during the festival. With the motto SEE. SHIFT. BECOME., this year, the festival team’s focal point becomes the state of being experienced by film audiences, immersing themselves in the vast and exquisite pleasure of cinema.
