The age old tale about the turnip, this time told from the viewpoint of the underground animals and insects.
Jury statement: We enjoyed the Baltic craftsmanship in this story that is told by an array of characters living in a world we rarely see. The new perspective on a traditional fairy tale can be appreciated by everyone, young and old. The ECFA Award for Best Short Film goes to The Turnip by Piret Sigus and Silja Saarepuu.
