A young woman is stuck in the film archives. She is lost amidst the shelves of film reels and within the labyrinth of her thoughts and subconscious. Will she find a way out?

The main character of Searching finds a film reel in her pocket. Is it the kind of thread which leads to the exit or one that ties you? Director Ozoliņa, of course, films this journey in glorious analog film –  a hide-and-seek with the audience and herself, where she seems on both sides, on and in front of a silver screen. It’s so delightful that we almost wish she kept losing herself in her stream-of-consciousness.
