Zariņa and Jordane reflect on the modern individual, exhausted by all sorts of crises and feeling tiny, much like Hans Christian Andersen’s Thumbelina. A modern interpretation of the well-known story is now a music video by the noise band Stabs. The directors playfully and critically explore the concepts of “strength in unity” and “everyone is the architect of their own fortune” in a socially charged, darkly witty puppet drama.
