This presentation, brought to Riga by Baltic Women in Film Mentorship programme, will explore consent and power dynamics on film sets, to understand why you need to hire an intimacy coordinator (IC). This presentation will identify which film scenes are considered as intimacy scenes, when to hire an IC, and how they work. Irma Pužauskaitė will also answer many other questions about how to make film sets a safe space for everyone.

Irma Pužauskaitė is a certified professional in the field of intimacy coordination, having received her certification from the Intimacy Professionals Association (US). Under the mentorship of intimacy coordinator Amanda Blumenthal, known for her work on productions such as Euphoria and How to Get Away with Murder, Irma honed her skills in managing and facilitating intimate scenes within filming environments. With a strong commitment to establishing trust-based relationships with performers, Irma approaches each project with a dedicated understanding of the director’s creative vision. Her professional credits include from historical movies as Queen Cleopatra (Netflix), Hilma by L. Hallstrom (Viaplay), Sisi (RTL+) to sci-fi Paradise (Netflix) to the drama Slow by M. Kavtaradze (Sundance Best Directing award) and many more.
