Natalia is an experienced Ukrainian producer whose work has been included in the programmes of the world’s leading film festivals – Venice, Berlin and Tribeca among others. In this talk she will share her story, successes and failures encountered on the way and reflect on what it means being a woman, an Eastern European in the global film industry. She will touch upon overcoming challenges and enduring stress, and elaborate on the art of convincing stakeholders to back her film project. Natalia will also share her insights on how the film industry has changed, what is its current shape – also taking into account the current sociopolitical realities, strengths and singularities of the Eastern European region. In this inspirational talk, she will explore the personal side of film production and share her tips for remaining active, relevant and emotionally nourished.
