LT/LV/DE 2024120'

The film tells the extraordinary love story of two young people from Memel (now Klaipėda) – the German girl and the Lithuanian man who was involved in smuggling in the past. He is desperate for her, who does not have a good reputation in town because of her mother’s past. Lonely girl begins to sympathize with the French lieutenant, who is temporarily living in Klaipėda. A rivalry begins between two men, which soon turns into an unequal duel. The young Lithuanian was noticed by intelligence colonel, an agent of the newly restored Lithuania, who, having appreciated young man stubbornness, invited him to join the Lithuanian intelligence in the Klaipėda region to become secret couriers. In pursuit of girls’ hand, he unknowingly gets involved in a risky operation – the annexation of Klaipėda region to Lithuania.
