Twenty-one-year young Ksenia lives a dynamic personal life filled with multiple activities. But Ksenia’s story has an overpowering sword of Damocles hanging above which is linked to the past. Right now she is facing imprisonment for at least 5 years. Why is her life throwing her all these twists? Is she just bravely confronting the future or is she subconsciously running away from it?

Renāte Saulīte is an upcoming new director. In 2022 she finished her first year as a film directing student. Before her current education, she spent several years studying medicine. Her first student movie Ksenia , which is still in a production stage, is developed together with coursemates. Longer work list is just yet to come during the next school years!
Katrīna Karple is Audio-visual and theatre arts production second year student at Latvian Academy of Culture. Ksenia is her first film project, developed together with a team of coursemates and film studio White Picture.
