A documentary film that reconstructs the events of March 2022 in Irpen, Buchа, Hostomel, and Vorzel Ukraine. On March the 31st of 2022 troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) liberated the Kyiv region from its Russian occupiers. The whole world was shocked by what it saw: bullet ridden cars, the bodies of local residents lying face down in the street, obliterated homes and destinies. Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, Vorzel – once flourishing small towns of the greater Kyiv region resisted the Russian onslaught in their assault on the capital, paying for it with their lives. For almost two months, a war was going on there behind closed doors.
