Justin Amorim founded the production company Promenade at 22. He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York while working with the Tribeca Film Institute. He wrote, produced and directed his first feature Leviano (2018), which premiered at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. He wrote and directed the TV series 5Starz (2021) and has also produced numerous features, short films and TV series. In 2022, he was one of the producers selected for Match Me! at the Locarno Film Festival.
Filipe Bessa Vieira (1991, Portugal) graduated in Film Studies from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. He has been collaborating with Promenade as Head of Development and supervising producer since 2021. He has been involved in the development and production of several Portuguese films and TV series. Notable projects include the features Alma Anciana (2023, Caminhos do Cinema Português), Lovefool (2024), Fragile (2022, Torino IFF), The Kegelstatt Trio (2022, Berlinale), and The Portuguese Woman (2018, Berlinale); as well as TV series such as We Won’t Dine (2022, RTP), Never Say Never (2022, RTP), 5Starz (2021, RTP), Pecado (2021, TVI), The Sugar Captains (2021, RTP), and As Coisas em Volta – A Misteriosa Vida dos Objetos (2021, RTP). From 2017 to 2019, he collaborated with Temps d’Images Festival and FUSO – International Video Art Festival in Lisbon.
