32nd European Film Awards ceremony – livestream on December 7

RIGA IFF in cooperation with the European Film Academy invites everyone to watch the live broadcast of the 32nd European Film Awards (EFA) on December 7 starting from 18:00 (Latvia time).

18:00 – the red carpet
20:00 – the award ceremony

Among the nominees there’s a number of films screened during RIGA IFF and all the nominations can be found here. EFA take place outside Berlin every other year and in 2014 the ceremony was hosted in Riga – a partnership with the freshly founded RIGA IFF.

This year’s ceremony honours the achievements of European cinema in 24 categories and welcomes outstanding European film makers such as Werner Herzog, recipient of the 2019 EFA Lifetime Achievement Award, and Juliette Binoche, who will be awarded with the Achievement in World Cinema award, together with many other protagonists of European cinema such as Wim Wenders and Agnieszka Holland.

Riga International Film Festival is an official live stream partner of the European Film Awards.
