Purchasing films

To watch films in the RIGA IFF Collection online you will need to buy an access code. A separate access code is needed for each film.

Access codes can be bought online on online.rigaiff.lv.

The code must be used within 1 month from the date of purchase.

To buy an access code:

1. Go to online.rigaiff.lv;
2. Scroll through the collection and select a film;
3. Click on the “Rent” button next to the film;
4. Add 1 ticket in the new window that opens by using the “+” button;
5. Click “Confirm All”;
6. Scroll down and click “Confirm All”;
7. Select the ticket delivery type as “I-ticket”;
8. Enter your email address in blank field;
9. Click on “Proceed to checkout”;
10. Select your preferred payment method;
11. Tick the box to agree to the terms of use and click “Accept”;
12. Click on “Pay”;
13. Proceed to checkout.

After your payment has gone through, the access code will be sent to the email address you have provided.

Watching the film

You can find your access code in the top left-hand corner of the ticket you receive in your email, after the word “code”.

The access code consists of 9 characters (3 letters and 6 numbers).

To watch the film:

1. Go to online.rigaiff.lv;
2. Enter the code from your ticket in the field that says “Already have a ticket? Enter the code”;
3. Click on the “Watch” button;
4. In the new window, click on “Play”;
5. Click on the triangle in the middle of the screen, and enjoy the film!

Adjusting the size of subtitles and other features

Certain features (including subtitles) may appear too small on high-definition screens. The size can be adjusted by using the resizing shortcuts on your browser ( “Ctrl” and “+” or “-” in Windows, and “Cmd” and “+” or “-” on Mac computers).

Keep in mind:

• After clicking “Play”, you have 48 hours to watch the film.
• The player will automatically adjust the image quality according to your internet speed.
• You can pause, fast-forward, or rewind the film.
• For films that have subtitles, you can turn them on using the button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
• There is a button in the bottom right corner of the screen for switching to full screen.
