A list of films that are available online can be found in the calendar by selecting “Online” in the “Format” drop-down menu on the left-hand side.

Some films will be subtitled with closed captioning (CC) in Latvian.
These subtitles provide a description of the sounds in the film.
This helps people with hearing impairments watch the films.

The Client Support Centre will be open from 17–27 October on workdays and weekends from 12:00 to 21:00.
Select a film on the festival website by going to the section “Festival” then “Programme”.
Click on it.
Click on “Buy” under the synopsis.
Some films are available to watch online.
To watch online, click “Buy” where it says online.
Choose the number of tickets you want by clicking on “+”.
Click “Confirm All” and check if the film and number of tickets is correct.
Enter your email address in the Contact information field.
This is where your tickets will be sent.
Check that the “I-Ticket” option is selected.
Click “Proceed to checkout”.
You can pay for your tickets with a card, or with internet banking.
You can select the payment option in the bottom right corner of the page.
After you pay, you will receive the ticket to your email.
In the top left corner of your ticket you will find a link to the website online.rigaiff.lv.
You can change the language to English by clicking on “Eng” on the top right side.
This is where you will be able to watch the film.
You can find the code to watch the film on the ticket.
The code consists of 3 letters and 6 digits (example: ABC123456).
For the English site, open the website rigaiff.lv/en/online/
Click on “Enter Code and Watch” on the top of the page.
This is for viewers who have already bought tickets.

Click “Watch”.
A page will open where you will be able to watch the film.
Here you can see how long the film is still available for.
You can watch films online until 23:59 on 27 October.
After you click “Play”, a new window will open.
There will be a round button with a triangle in the middle of the page. Click on the triangle to start the film.
Once you’ve clicked play, you have 4 hours to finish the film.
You can pause, rewind, or fast forward the film.
You can add subtitles by clicking on the subtitle button.
This is located on the bottom right hand side.
All films have subtitles in Latvian and English.

You can select to watch the film in full screen by clicking a button in the bottom right corner of the page.
