A betrayed wife’s jealousy is gradually replaced by curiosity, and she starts to investigate her husband’s mistresses. Discovering that they are left lonely and dissatisfied, she makes her peace – let the mosquito drain them of their blood.

Jury statement: Feelings are a very important and very difficult subject to deal with, both in the so-called ‘real life’ and in art. The film that we decided to award with the main prize manages to translate a painful self-destructing obsession and dependency into surrealist and metaphorical images without a single word. This sattle and original animation immediately brings us inside the character’s inner world, filled with insecurity, jealousy and loneliness, but as much as we are taken away by the story, the film also allows us to take a step back and appreciate it as the fine work of art, done with a great deal of insight and imagination.
