Charles Gachet-Dieuzeide is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Secoya Eco Tournage. A former location manager and producer, he started Secoya Eco Tournage two years ago with his associate Mathieu Delahousse, in order to bring sustainability to the audiovisual sector. Secoya has worked on more than 50 projects since it was created, and is aiming to reduce the environmental impact of productions and change the mindset.

Mathieu Delahousse is the President of Secoya Eco Tournage. He worked as a Location Manager for 15 years on more than 30 productions such as: Les aventures extraordinaires d’Adèle Blanc Sec by Luc Besson, L’ordre et la morale by Mathieu Kassovitz, Café de Flore by Jean-Marc Vallée, Mesrine by Jean-François Richet, Belle et Sébastien 1 by Nicolas Vanier, La liste de mes envies by Didier Le Pêcheur, Chefs saison 1 et 2 by Arnaud Malherbe and Clovis Corvillac, Knock by Lorraine Levy… He has been co-managing Alfred&Q, a film equipment rental company, for the past three years.
Mathieu Delahousse will be talking about the power of greening the way film festivals are organised.
Guillaume Calop started his career at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. He then moved to Los Angeles to participate in launching the online publishing group Animation World Network (awn.com). Back in France, he then worked for 7 years at the internet branch of CANAL+ group. In 2009, together with his partner Pierre-Emmanuel Fleurantin, they imagined a film festival in the mountains where they grew up, the ski resort of Les Arcs. In only a few years, the Les Arcs Film Festival has become a major marketplace and event for European cinema.
Guillaume Calop will talk about his experience with organising a “green” film festival and will highlight Les Arcs Film Festival’s future plans.
Ojārs Balcers has been involved with different environmental issues for many years. In this time, he has also become a doctor of material physics and a volunteer at the Latvian Fund for Nature (LDF). The LDF has initiated a climate project through which Balcers consults the organisation about climate change.
Ojārs Balcers will talk about the dynamics of climate change in Latvia from the perspective of an environmentalist organisation.
Jūle Rozīte studied Film and Television Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin, and the University of Glasgow in Scotland. She has worked as a film programmer at festivals all over the world – the Tribeca Film Festival, the Stockholm Film Festival, Baltic Sea Docs in Riga and the New York Baltic Film Festival. In 2016, Rozīte was honored to be on the jury of the Latvian National Film Awards, and participate in the pre-selection committee the following year.
