Falk is a German film producer creating prestigious TV series, mini-series and feature films. Head of production at Studio Zentral, where he is responsible for series and mini-series shoot logistics, budget planning and delivery. Falk successfully moved into producing and production management, becoming a prominent figure in German film and television. In 2024, he received the Bernd Burgemeister TV Production Award at the Munich Film Festival as one of the creators of the critically acclaimed series Love Sucks (2024). Falk is the line producer of Sound of Falling (2025), the debut feature by Masha Schilinski – the film was Germany's submission for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film and won the Jury Prize at Cannes.

Kaža is one of the most visible, prolific and internationally acclaimed directors, screenwriters and producers of the new generation of Latvian film and theatre. Founder of the Trickster Pictures studio, he has made more than 20 films of various lengths, including producing several films screened and awarded at Cannes, Locarno and elsewhere. He is the youngest-ever Academy Award winner in the Best Animated Feature category – in 2025, aged 29, he received the award for producing Flow (2024) by Gints Zilbalodis; Kaža also co-wrote the screenplay. He holds a degree in Film&TV from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, and has also studied at the American Film Institute Conservatory in Los Angeles and the Latvian Academy of Culture. He made his theatre directing debut in 2023 with Soft Power at the Latvian National Theatre, earning acclaim from critics and audiences alike, and the following year received the Spēlmaņu nakts award at the Latvian theatre awards for Best New Stage Artist of the Year.

Perera is a Sri Lankan-born curator, critic, journalist and film programmer based in Tallinn, Estonia. She is a programmer at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, where she selects international submissions and coordinates the competition, and South Asia regional film curator, seeking out emerging voices and fostering collaboration between European and Asian film markets. Perera is the founder and editor-in-chief of KinoPear, an online film journal, where she reflects on film trends and current releases, and publishes interviews with filmmakers from major festivals on a regular basis. Her writing has appeared in the International Cinephile Society, Baltic Film, and Asian Movie Pulse. She studied philosophy at the University of Kelaniya and film at Tallinn University.

Hertling Péronard is a highly regarded Danish and Greenlandic film producer, and co-founder and partner of the Ánorâk Film studio. Known as one of the leading creators and champions of Arctic and indigenous cinema storytelling – films produced by Hertling Péronard address shifting cultural landscapes, indigenous folks and their fates. Working out of Nuuk and Copenhagen, he is executive director of the Nuuk International Film Festival and Chair of the Arctic Indigenous Film Fund. The short film Ivalu (2023), produced by Hertling Péronard, was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. He is best known to RIGA IFF audiences as the producer of Twice Colonized (2023), a film by Lin Alluna – the film received the Canadian Screen Award for Best Feature Documentary. His films have been screened at the most prestigious film festivals, including Cannes, Venice, Berlin and Sundance.

Popp is a US-Taiwanese film critic and programmer based between Berlin and Brussels. She is an alumna of Berlinale Talents and Locarno Critics Academy. Popp is on the selection committee for Berlin Critics’ Week and a programmer for One World Slovakia International Documentary Film Festival. Alongside this, she is co-founder and editor-in-chief of the queer film publication Purple Hour, and regularly writes for film publications such as Cineuropa, MUBI Notebook, Little White Lies, Senses of Cinema, Zippy Frames, Screen Slate and many others. Popp is a highly prominent critic, also serving as the publishing coordinator for Cineuropa’s GoCritic! workshop for emerging writers and supporting the editorial team at International Film Festival Rotterdam.
