A bar that might as well be a small, perfect world. Nobody knows what day it is, and a bunch of people have decided to be right here. The owner is baking cakes in the kitchen, while the music must play non-stop. A ritual is needed to maintain this order: the music must play, otherwise, something bad is going to happen. The lovers, loners and the confused ones return to life, hug, fall, connect and get back on their feet  in this bizarre, enclosed space.

French directors Poggi and Vinel have been collaborating for several years already, delving into the most absurd behaviors of human beings and creating plots balancing between the suburban spaces, dream, computer-game logics and fantasy of the post-apocalypse. The directors’ duo made the Berlinale Golden Bear awarded short film, As Long as Shotguns Remain (2014), feature Eat The Night (2024), shown in the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes, and many others. The latest work about a bunch of people dancing out the exercise of love has been included in the competition of Locarno International Film Festival. As the directors themselves describe this work, filled with streams of sound, longing and “blessings”: “That’s how I say I love you. I put on some music and it’s an “I love you.””
