During the school summer break, the nine-year-old Ilze joins her family in the rainforest where they live together with the Pemón tribe close to the Devil’s mountain. When after an accident Mom needs to fly Dad to a hospital, Ilze volunteers to look after her three-yearold brother Alex. However, instead of paying attention to her brother, Ilze’s nose is stuffed in a book. When finally Ilze looks up, she discovers that Alex has disappeared. All signs show that he has wandered towards the jungle. Ilze has to bring him back home before their parents return.

Edmunds Jansons (1972) is director, animator, illustrator, and founder of the animation film studio Atom Art. He studied TV directing at Academy of Culture of Latvia and animation directing at Estonian Academy of Art. His first feature film Jacob, Mimmi and the Talking Dogs has been selected at more than 100 festivals.
Atom Art is an independent animation studio based in Riga, Latvia. During the last years Atom Art has premiered feature animation film Jacob, Mimmi and the Talking Dogs and more than ten award winning short films that travel festivals around the world. This year Atom Art premiered in Berlinale animated short for pre-school age children called Hush Hush Little Bear.
Sabīne Andersone is producer and managing director of animation film studio Atom Art. She has studied Law and Theory of culture. Producer of prize winning artistic animation shorts and children films in different formats. Her productions have been selected at Berlinale, Annecy, Ottawa, Clermont-Ferrand among others. Nominated for Cartoon Movie Tribute award Producer of the Year with animated feature film “Jacob, Mimmi and the Talking Dogs”. Co-founder and member of Latvian Animation Association.
