Granite Point is an experimental fiction film about intergenerational conflict. The story of a family secret slowly reveals itself – a child has been abandoned. The private histories of mother, son and daughter play out during three decades, intermingling with the cityscape of a changing Vilnius, underlined by changes in visual culture. The film deals with entangled relationships, the longing of the abandoned child, and the discovery of a hidden sibling.

Donalda Venskienė is a junior producer that shares her insights and industry knowledge while working in the Vilnius International Film Festival and is leading this project Granite Point while shifting our focus to experimental, hybrid film making.
Jurga Gluskinienė is an experienced producer and film studio Monoklis co-founder. She is known for producing strong documentary movies, working with directors such as Giedrė Beinoriūtė, Mindaugas Survila, Linas Mikuta.
