Dawn is gathering medicinal herbs in the forest when the Woodcutter in love with her appears offering her his hand and his heart. Dawn makes fun of him. Shortly after Dawn is attacked by Servants of a mysterious Beast, who kidnaps the girl. Dawn manages to cut loose her shadow whose quest is to find help and to solve the mystery.

Olga Stalev got her degree in animation at the Estonian Academy of Arts and since then she connected her life with stop motion. She has been working on major Estonian puppet animations such as like Capten Morten, Teofrastus etc. Also she is teaching puppet animation in the Academy of Arts. And now Olga is ready to do her first film as a director.
Edina Csüllög is an Estonia based Hungarian producer and director. Since graduation at the Baltic Film and Media school she has directed her debut short film The Butterfly Man, which won the Baltic Pitching Forum at 2014. Her recent works as a freelance producer are: Experts of Love (feautre documentary in production), Firekeepers (Sarajevo Pack and Pitch, a full length creative documentary in postprod.), Lembri Uudu and animations like Shadow of Dawn and Someone as Flow. Besides producing she is the founder of Finno-Ugric Film Foundation and the film festival FUFF. She has been working with indigenous people for more than a decade, using filmmaking as a tool to give a chance to cultures and languages close to extinction.
