“Impressions” tells a story of a slow death, broken heart, growing fear of abandonment and suffocating of your inner child and yet aspires to be a feel-good comedy. Yes, it’s about “daddy issues”. And, no, we’re not going to call them that.

Alise Zarina is a film director, writer, freelance creative and activist. Impressions is her second feature film. Her first feature Nearby was awarded the National Film Award for best screenplay, her short II lines won best national short film title in Riga IFF. Her other works include shorts, music videos, advertisements and an upcoming tv series.
Alise Rogule has produced different projects for more than 12 years. In 2022. Alise was selected as a participant together with 9 European promising producers for Cannes Film Festival Court Metrage new initiative – New Producers Room and Match Me! Programme at Locarno Film Festival. Currently she is participating in ACE EU Mentoring programme.
