The Green Country is a dialogue driven satirical film about the duality towards the belief that we should live sustainably, in contradiction with the life standards we are not willing to give up.
Two friends spend the weekend in a modern and luxurious cabin in the woods, discussing their life choices and their concerns regarding the consequences of climate change, including the impact of global warming in bird’s migration. But at the same time many contradictions arise from their actions and lifestyle.

Silvia Rossi is an Italian filmmaker based in Oslo with over 10 years of experience in directing commercials, music videos, art films and short films. After pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice she studied directing at the National Film School CSC -Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia- in Milano. She is part and co-founder of BOM Films, a directors duo that works in the field of advertising and of Peggy Høy, a women lead independent production company based in Norway.
Siri Bråtveit is producer and filmmaker from Suldal, Norway and has studied filmmaking at HDK-Valand, the Academy of art and design in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a filmmaker, Siri is interested in exploring hybrid and crossover genres, and her shorts have been shown at both film festivals and art exhibitions. She is one of the founders and producers of the independent production company Peggy Høy.
Ingrid Liavaag writes, produces, directs and acts, within the field of film, theater and performance. She was educated at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris and at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She has made short films shown nationally and internationally. She has been awarded the Norwegian Film critic’s awards at The Norwegian short-film festival and her video installation work is part of the Southern Norway Art Museum collection. She also Co-founded the multidisciplinary collective LiLiRe. She investigates feminism and gender through the intricacies and complexities of human relationships.
