Nenad Mikalacki was born in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia. He is a graduate of film and TV directing at the National University of Drama and Film (UNATC) in Bucharest, Romania. He has produced and directed award-winning fiction films and documentaries and has worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Media in Novi Sad, Serbia. In 2009, he founded the production company Druid.
