Matyáš is a 15-year-old boy who enjoyed popularity in primary school and embraced his gay identity early. Things change during Matyáš’s high school entrance examination when he develops feelings for Radek, a peer of his age. His once childhood worldview swiftly gives way to the stark challenges of adulthood. He must face his first emotional confusions, mistakes, and unexpectedly harsh reality such as sexual predators. Will he find his inner balance through the storm of a difficult adolescence?

David Semler is a director and screenwriter. His previous short film Must Be Painful, written and directed during his studies at Prague’s FAMU, was nominated for the Czech Lion Awards, received the French-German ARTE Channel Award for Best Short Film, and has been screened at more than 20 international film festivals. David Semler also collaborated with AoD platform Audiotka as a screenwriter of the audio comedy Pigeon House and he is currently preparing the project Filter with Czech TV and developing scripts for big screen films and TV drama series.
Jaroslav Sedláček is a renowned creative producer, he has worked as deputy editor-in-chief of Cinema magazine (1994-2008) and as chief programmer of the Czech Television Film Centre (2012-2022). He has been a creative producer at Czech Television since 2022 and is also a member of the Czech Film and Television Academy. Green Border (dir.
