Emīlija Lenkeviča is a creative professional in animation and audiovisual production, with a background in design and art direction. A graduate of the Riga School of Design and Art and holds a BA in Audiovisual and Stage Production from the Latvian Academy of Culture. Her path into stop-motion animation began in 2023 with “NIPONESE”, an experimental short and currently she is a part of Animācijas Brigāde working on her first feature animation as well as other creative animation projects.

Dace Rīdūze is a Latvian director, producer, and scriptwriter specializing in puppet animation, active at Animācijas Brigāde since 1998. Contributions include directing and scripting acclaimed films such as Upside Down, Acorn Boy, Pea Children, and Piglet’s Journey. She curates exhibitions, leads creative workshops and educational programs for children and youth, and develops projects that sustain Latvia’s stop-motion traditions. Her films have been featured and awarded at major international festivals, bringing innovative puppet storytelling to audiences worldwide.
