Gustas (25) jumps out of Karolis’ (25) moving car – as if trying to escape a dream. He acts strangely and begs to be woken up. Karolis puts him back in the car. Karolis’ sister Milda (23) joins them. Gustas calls his sister – no answer. The three end up in an underground club. The music hypnotizes Gustas. He calls again – still no answer. Later, Milda and Gustas return to his home. In bed lies his sister’s lifeless body. Milda is shocked. Gustas calmly says: “Don’t worry. It’s just a dream.”

Montis Norvaišis is a Lithuanian writer-director whose work spans heartfelt drama, biting satire, and inventive docufiction. A graduate of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, he has penned features in development and written for the upcoming political sitcom The Staff. Montis crafts stories where intimacy meets wit, and the unexpected hides in plain sight.
Lineta Lasiauskaitė is a Locarno Match Me! emerging producer (2024) and Brussels CoProMarket Up-and-Coming Producer (2025). She holds a BA in Film Production from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (2024) and is currently pursuing an MA in Philosophy at Vytautas Magnus University. Lineta gained experience in various Lithuanian companies, working on everything from financing to post-production and distribution. In 2023, she established her company Plopsas, focused on producing fiction and documentary films from talents with recognizable style and a desire to tell unexplored stories. Plopsas’ short Ootid (dir. Eglė Razumaitė) premiered in competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024. Lineta’s other producer credits include the Cottbus Film Festival-winning short Last Time (2022), Karlovy Vary nominee -15 (2023), Ca’Foscari Short Film Festival-winning short Closer (2024), and Lebu International Film Festival-winning short After Fentanyl (2025), among others.
