After her transgender daughter is murdered in Tbilisi, Nana, a lonely mother in rural Georgia, discovers that her daughter preserved genetic material in preparation for motherhood. With only months before it expires, Nana decides to bring her grandchild into the world. But the law denies her access, while her daughter’s killer claims the right to fatherhood. Nana must fight society, the courts, and time to save the last trace of her daughter.
