Mykola Zasieiev is an award-winning director and screenwriter. His fiction short film Easter Day (2025) is set for theatrical release in France and a broadcast on ARTE France in June 2026. The film has already received the Jury Award for the Best European Film in the Short Film Competition at the 66th Krakow Film Festival (qualification for the European Film Awards in the short film category) in May 2026, Best Political Short Film from the French National Assembly in March 2026, and is nominated for Best Short Fiction Film at the Ukrainian National Film Award “Golden Dzyga” for 2026. His debut fiction short Phase (2021) screened at numerous international film festivals, including Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival (2021) and Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Tokyo (2022). Phase was also nominated for Best Short Fiction Film at the Ukrainian National Film Award “Golden Dzyga” in 2023.

Matīss Kaža is an Academy Award-winning Latvian producer, director, and writer. He is best known for co-writing and producing the animated feature film Flow (2024) by Gints Zilbalodis, which won the first-ever Golden Globe and Oscar for an independent animated feature. Recent producing credits include The Child (2026, Warsaw Film Festival Main Competition) by Linda Olte, 1 Girl Infinite (2025, Rotterdam Film Festival selection) by Lilly Hu, and Drowning Dry (2024, two awards in the Locarno Main Competition) by Laurynas Bareiša.
