Tom Grater joined Deadline in 2019 as part of its expanding international team to cover the film and TV industry. He is a regular at film markets and festivals around the world. Grater was previously at Screen International for five years, rising to Senior Reporter of the magazine’s print and online operations. He has also worked in events and as a freelance journalist for national newspapers in the UK.

Valeria Richter has worked internationally since 1997 writing, developing, coaching and consulting in the areas of feature film and TV series, and held workshops and labs on ideation and innovation, and pitching and script development. Since 2004, she has worked at her own companies Pebble and Nordic Factory Copenhagen, and has co-produced narrative films and documentaries. In 2014 she created and financed a talent programme for Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival.

Ani Korpela leads the content and streaming services department at Elis, one of the largest producers of Finnish drama. She has overseen the development, production and successful launch of more than 20 original series including first class dramas, drama comedies and comedies. Her team is responsible for commissioning the original series Elisa Viihde and for acquiring both local and international content.

Alexander Rönnberg is a founding partner of Northern Fable. He is currently in post-production on the second season of horror TV-series 12:13 for SVT. Northern Fable is also currently producing the feature The Schoolmaster Games. Rönnberg has made several award-winning shorts and studied at the National Film & Television School in London. He is a member of the producers network ACE and the Young Nordic Producers Club.

Artem Vasilyev is the Founder and CEO of film company Metrafilms, which was founded in 1993, and is one of the most influential independent filmmakers in Russia. Vasilyev is a member of the European Film Academy, the Russian Film Academy and the European Producers Club. Films produced by Artem Vasilyev and Metrafilms include Anna’s War and The Humorist, which have received numerous awards at prestigious international film festivals.

As the Executive Vice President and Creative Director for the Global Drama division at Fremantle, Christian Vesper has creative oversight across Fremantle’s network of global drama producers – advising and assisting producers to develop and produce projects that have seen international success. He manages the slate of projects and heads up the effort to set up group projects as co-productions with US and UK networks and on global platforms.
