As its title suggests, this program deals with movement, means of transportation and the kind of baggage – literal or emotional – that you carry with you in your journey.

Train trips in Patronymic pave the way for the director’s quest to regain her identity. In Dream Up The Title, the protagonist misses her train but is also unfashionably late to everything – love and adulthood. Of course, most of the time, the journey itself is more important than its final destination, like for the carefree wanderer in Vagabond, coming straight from a US folk song. Or for the punk violinist of Midnight Nostalgia, guiding us on a trip in the night and soul of Tartu, Estonia. 

Wherever the exit could lead to, the protagonist of Patch is desperate for a way out from her claustrophobic world, and running (the sport) may be the key. At the end, the pocket odyssey of the Four’s characters, in search of water, and the day of an everyman from dullness to comic epiphany in On Our Time reveal why we love travelling: to enjoy the flow and speed of life.
